Hibernian Place has been carefully planned and designed to create a destination rich in sensory experiences where visitors feel local and locals feel at home.
— Over the last eighteen months the ‘Historic Heart’ committee has engaged with the State Government and Perth City Council to focus on upgrading streetscapes, laneways, public spaces and road and path infrastructure. East End tenancies will be the beneficiaries of this work for years to come.
Hibernian Place will be iconic as the heart of this new vision for the East End.
Surveying of local businesses and organisations communicated a unanimous desire for a ‘people’s’ place. A vision for an inner city community ensued. A green place. A place to grab lunch and sit in the sun. A place to hear live music over a cocktail after work. A rooftop destination that attracts interstate visitors, lawyers, hipsters and every one in between. A modern day eatery with no pretension. The best coffee in the city.
