THE STORY

— Over the last eighteen months the ‘Historic Heart’ committee has engaged with the State Government and Perth City Council to focus on upgrading streetscapes, laneways, public spaces and road and path infrastructure. East End tenancies will be the beneficiaries of this work for years to come.

Hibernian Place will be iconic as the heart of this new vision for the East End.

 

Surveying of local businesses and organisations communicated a unanimous desire for a ‘people’s’ place. A vision for an inner city community ensued. A green place. A place to grab lunch and sit in the sun. A place to hear live music over a cocktail after work. A rooftop destination that attracts interstate visitors, lawyers, hipsters and every one in between. WHERE AND ABOUTS
 

The address, 480 Hay St - between Hay St and Murray St, is just a three minute walk from David Jones, a four minute walk from Myer, Zara and H&M and a two minute walk from Cathedral Square

— Hibernian Place sits in the CBD’s hotel district, within 200 meters of five global hotel brands and in turn over 2300
hotel rooms. In addition to this it is estimated that there will be over 300,000 sqm of office space in the catchment.

Entertainment landmarks the State Theatre, the WACA and the new Perth Stadium are all within a short walk or five minute drive from Hibernian Place.

The site is well serviced by public transport, including the free Red CAT bus service which runs past the building Eastbound on Murray Street and Westbound on Hay Street, as well as being walking distance to the central train and ferry terminals.

The Place


Hibernian Place is an interactive public space with mature trees and water features, all faced by food & beverage alfresco spaces and the Westin terrace

— A thoughtfully curated public space is one of the most dramatic and inviting features of Hibernan Place.

Landscape design has been developed with tenancy areas and the food and beverage patron in mind; paying special attention to delivering a casual al-fresco seating area for takeaway lunches and terrace dining for a casual lunch or starlit supper and late night entertainment.

 

The 2000 sqm plaza designed by Hassell, features a rooftop garden, a stunning wrap-around water feature, thirty six mature trees, manicured lawns, wifi hotspots, event service provisions, fixed timber and stone furniture and
plenty of bench seating.

In collaboration with tenants, the plaza will also be the site of an annual calendar of activities, pop-up food and beverage offerings and installations.

THE OFFERING

— Visitors to Hibernian Place will enjoy breakfast hang outs in green spaces and modern day eateries, offering local produce, enjoyed in generous indoor-outdoor spaces. Spaces will be active from early morning to late night.

On the go students and workers will have access to a premium takeaway offer that can travel with them or be enjoyed in Hibernian Places signature green spaces.

THE WESTIN
 

— The 368-room, five-star Westin Perth will offer a level of luxury not previously seen in Western Australia, including 28 suites furnished with the brand’s signature luxury amenities.

The hotel fronts picturesque, tree-lined Murray Street and has sweeping views across the CBD and to the Perth Hills. It features a luxurious spa, a large-scale fitness centre and an outdoor infinity swimming pool.

 

 

The Westin Perth will expand Perth’s offering to meeting and event planners with over 1,700 sqm of meeting space including a 750 person, 800 sqm ballroom. Meeting groups by nature stay close to the hotel and in turn utilise the surrounding food and beverage outlets.
